| Essential Responsibilities: | As the Power Conversion Product Service Engineer Wind / Solar / Storage Products you will- Provide technical & troubleshooting support to GE and non GE field commissioners, operation and maintenance personnel
- Interact with site personnel to obtain critical data on support issues
- Interface with product development, sourcing, manufacturing, product line leadership and product engineering teams to expediently resolve technical issues
- Own quality measurements, data gathering and analysis of Wind, Solar, and Energy Storage products and components. Report quality findings, trends, and recommendations
- Author and distribute Customer Technical Communications as the means to facilitate information on quality issues affecting the Wind, Solar and Energy Storage
- products
- Develop knowledge articles for the Knowledge Management support solutions tool
- Team with product designers to define product support documentation and deliver content for publication
- Provide training support for the Wind, Solar and Energy Storage products

| Desired Characteristics: | - Field commissioning experience or product support
- Power conversion experience with (SCR) Silicon Controlled Rectifier, (IGBT) Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor
- Working knowledge with ControlST software tool suite, WorkstationST, trender
- Drives and controls troubleshooting background
- Demonstrated success as a change agent in the introduction of new processes
- Strong influencing, facilitation, leadership and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated design creativity and problem solving capabilities
- Strong process discipline with sound analytical and statistical skills
- Ability to work and communicate at all levels of the organization
- Adaptable to working with people from varying disciplines: Field, Manufacturing, Sourcing, Engineering, program managers, and various Quality organizations
- Strong customer focus, safety and quality mindset
- Team player and ability to self-direct
- Ability to work with minimal direction, self-starter, resourceful
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing (English)

- PC proficient, Windows and MS Office Suite of products
- Ability to work with electrical and electronic schematics
- Project Management skills
- Green Belt Certification or equivalent Quality certification
