| Role Summary/Purpose: | To develop Energy Management and Distribution Management software applications for Power on Reliance/ETerra Product |
| Essential Responsibilities: | 1. Should have actively programmed in C/C++ under Unix/Linux environment and is expected to be practically conversant with the most commonly used libraries. The candidate will have to be hands-on and will be required to solve complex programming requirements. Also the candidate should have good understanding of software development life cycle 2. Should have very sound knowledge on power system concepts 3. Should have very good knowledge on Automatic Generation and control concepts, Power Network Analysis modules (Fault level analysis, Contingency Analysis, State Estimation etc.) 4. Strictly follow all quality and documentation processes 5. Working knowledge of Relational Databases (Oracle, Sybase etc.) 6 Working knowledge on Installing and configuring software on Linux systems 7 Working Knowledge on any scripting language in Linux/Unix environment |
