| Role Summary/Purpose: | Lead and support activities, projects and programs related to the development, implementation, documentation and sustainability of product quality processes, standards to assure quality of conformance on our LED/Core products. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Establish and administer visible, consistent methods and metrics to facilitate continuous improvement and compliance to UL, CSA, Energy Star, ETL standards and USA DOT Requirements. - Lead, perform and document root cause analysis (RCA), corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and facilitate implementation and follow up with all manufacturing team. - Develop, update and improve Quality Plans, Instructions, Procedures to ensure the highest level of quality in our products and services. - Able to perform ISO 9001:2008 audits and reporting. - Gather data and develop projects to reduce and minimize COQ Internal and External. - Utilize Six Sigma tools in order to develop SPC and use statistica decisions and reduce 100% inspections. - Able to develop quick in deep knowledge of new products and features and upgrade quality system accordingly. - Facilitate team learning and engagement in all quality initiatives. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - Education: Electronic, Mechatronics, Industrial, Mechanic or Engineering degree. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years in manufacturing, quality assurance or equivalent experience in electrical lighting applications. - Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and able to learn new systems quickly. - Strong communication skills both written and oral. Fully bilingual, Spanish & English language fluency is a must. Ability to interface with all levels of leadership (internal and external). |
