Role Summary/Purpose: In this position the engineer shall demonstrate essential leadership in communicating and achieving business goals, programs, and processes for an area or business segment. In this role the professional will apply the experience and expertise to design equipment, solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals
Essential Responsibilities:
- Execute the design, analysis or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements;

- Provide technical leadership to personnel supporting the assigned project.

- Support on execution the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements.

- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments;

- Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures;

- Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments.

- Participate on teams assigned to address organizational initiatives and generic issues;

- Help to support and also participate as a presenter or reviewer in technical and program reviews.

- Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures;

- Create and Review Bill of Materials, Specify parts and Features required for Equipment functionality;
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical and Naval as preference);

- Knowledge in Mathcad and FEA Software (Ansys or Workbench/Design Space);

- At least 5 years of experience in an engineering position;

- At least 2 years of experience in an Oil & Gas engineering position preferably in equipment design;

- Knowledge in industrial standards (API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI);

- Understands general material types, coating types, manufacturing techniques, and NDE;

- Fluent English;

- Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems;

- Good oral and written communication skills;

- Essential interpersonal and leadership skills;

- Working knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD &T) as it relates to individual parts and overall assemblies (ANSI Y

- Knowledge in industrial standards (API, ASTM, ASME, ANSI);

- PC proficiency, as MS Office and CAD Systems.
