| Role Summary/Purpose: | He or She should be independently executing Control software/HMI design and development and embedded firmware development for Subsea production control systems, own Quality of deliverables for entire team and end to end delivery timelines till integrated testing and FAT. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | 1. HMI Controls software development on PLC (GE-IP and Allen Bradley) platforms. Software development in FBD, Ladder Logic, STL, SFC. 2. Mentoring team and bridging technical gaps, support team technically in accomplishing tasks. 3. Own Quality of deliverables for both Controls software/HMI and Embedded firmware. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | -BE/B-Tech, ME/MTech Degree in Instrumentation, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. -8 to 10 years work experience in Controls software development on PLC platforms. - Through working experience in Version control, Static Analysis tools, SDLC, Track record of Debugging, Root-causing all kinds of PLC software issues - Strong knowledge and debugging experience in Communication protocols Modbus, CAN, TCP/IP, UDP - Working knowledge on RTOS (QNX), Micro Controller Firmware at BSP, Application or Device driver level. - Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems. - Strong analytic and problem solving skills. - Good interpersonal & organizational skills. - Ability to work autonomously and take decisions. - Ability to be an effective Contributor of multi-cultural Teams. |
