Role Summary/Purpose: | Sales Engineer for Components Team, part of the Industrial Solutions Business reporting to Branch Manager, located out of Ahmedabad. A front line sales role with a committed target to be achieved over the year. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Responsible for sales in the assigned territory covering across all relevant industries in and around the location, will cover key customers through interaction with channel partners, consultants, and end customers for the industrial solutions business. Candidate will be front ending sales in preliminary generation of enquiries and specifications at the end user place Candidate will report into the concerned Sales Manager or Branch Manager working on achieving the yearly targets. Daily/weekly activities: 1. Sales call or sales visit to our customers. 2. Working on existing business enquiry & generating new ones. 3. Offer preparation. 4. To give support or feedback to customer for running job. 5. Email communication with customer and management. 6. Discussion with reporting manager for sale projection. 7. Technical collaboration with colleagues about our product to grow knowledge. 8. Inputs to design department for new product. 9. Product approvals for end users. 10. Payment follow-ups for past dues 11.Updating weekly sales report. 12. Discussing weekly plan with the manager. 13. Project tracker analysis & updation. 14.Weekly number commitments |
Qualifications/Requirements: | 1. BE (Electrical / Mechanical) &. 2- 5 yrs hands-on experience OR 2. Diploma in Electrical engineering with a considerable experience (7 years plus) |

Desired Characteristics: | Ideal candidate should be comfortable in the dynamic atmosphere of a product organization with a rapidly expanding customer base. Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails, RFPs, and when submitting reports. He/she should also have a good technical know how about Power controls (Low Voltage & Medium Voltage Switch Gears, Busways) and the Industry as such. He/she should be organized and analytical, able to eliminate sales obstacles through creative and adaptive approaches. Must be prepared for extensive travel. Knowledge of Local area will add to the advantage. Good External Focus and patience in a difficult market will also help. |
