| Role Summary/Purpose: | The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading fulfillment and productivity projects aimed at enhancing The 9FA megadeal in Algeria. The Project Manager must coordinate engineering, manufacturing, sourcing and logistics activities while partnering with regional functions to execute this PGS scope of the meagadeal |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Manage complex productivity and optimization for Gas Turbine and BOP, and Steam Turbine and Generator upgrades. - Lead internal project kickoff with project team members to communicate & coordinate full project scope. - Coordinate activities of project team inclusive of EPC, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and logistics team members. Project team may also include people from other P&Ls with scope in the overall project. - Coordinate with region P&L and fulfillment peers to plan and execute the PGS scope for the meagadeal - Conduct project risk reviews aimed at driving strong project optimization and execution. - Coordinate implementation of new or revised scope through change orders. - Effectively manage customer communication internal and external and contract deliverables. - Manage PGS scope project financials (sales, margin, receivables). - Drive customer issue resolution. - Actively participate in Lean initiatives to improve/simplify project execution. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - BS Degree in technical discipline - Operations, commercial and/or technical experience, technical knowledge of 9FA GT and power plants. - Demonstrated project management skills - Excellent communication skills - Strong understanding of GE financial practices - Willingness to travel within North Africa especially in Algeria - Fluent in French, Arabic and English |
