The Fulfillment Engineering Manager will be an exciting role for a dynamic individual who will build a new team to focus on engineering fulfillment of orders. This new team will be responsible for providing world-class engineering support during ITO and OTR phases for the Waukesha Gas Engine business. The Manager will work cross-functionally with other departments to ensure overall business processes are as efficient and robust as possible.
Essential Responsibilities: In addition you will:

  • Have direct reports as well as dotted-line reports
  • Be responsible for all engineering metrics associated with transactional fulfillment
  • Develop and grow technical and leadership Engineering talent in the team
  • Ensure process rigor for stable operations of teams including metric ownership
  • Own continuous process improvements for team
  • Ensure compliance to Engineering Quality Management System, Compliance and Training requirements
  • Manage critical relationships between Engineering and Commercial team as well as GSCM
  • Improve NPS scores for Engineering
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related from an accredited college or university
  • Minimum of 10 year experience in the energy industry
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

  • Strong analytical skills, proven problem solver and demonstrated strategic mindset
  • Post graduate engineering or MBA degree. Green Belt or Black Belt certified
