A large number of technologists here are working on Controls play a key role, serving as the backbone of any plant /operation; monitoring the performance and helping increase the efficiency of the turbine with new features and applications. On the other hand, there are technologists who are working on Smart Grid technology under Digital Energy for efficient transmission and distribution of energy as well as creating a new paradigm in the world of energy conservation through smart meters and applications. | Role Summary/Purpose: | Employee in this role is expected to own CVS project, prepare build schedule, and do builds for ENOVIA PLM applications of ET COE. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | ? Manage and control the source code repository in CVS. ? Creating and maintaining build scripts for ENOVIA Applications (JAVA, CVS). ? Owning CVS project, creating branches, code merging and release tagging. Work with development team to prepare build or configuration management plan. ? Install and configure applications in different environments. ? Communicate with stakeholders on build plans, freeze dates and builds etc. ? Compliance to processes and measurements. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | ? BE / BTech / ME/MTech or equivalent. ? Manage branching (create branches, execute merges) and labeling strategies in CVS. ? Experience in creating and maintaining deployment scripts for Java/J2EE Applications. ? Participate in release coordination and communication to stakeholders. ? Create, manage and implement Configuration Management Plan ? Experience with ANT scripting. ? Experience in building Enovia PLM Applications. ? Knowledge in TCL and MQL scripts. ? Minimum 4 years of relevant experience. ? Candidate must be proficient in software development life cycle. Significant problem solving ability. ? Strong verbal & written communication skills to effectively work with the Global teams. ? Deliver the tasks on time with quality. |
