Role Summary/Purpose: | The Oracle ERP Services Project Manager is responsible for the design and implementation of Oracle ERP solutions in the CRM/Services space. This role is part of the Power & Water Enterprise Application Services (EAS) team and will be engaged in providing world class ERP solutions to the assigned P&W ERP projects. Ability to lead project teams, influence cross-function teams, and enable business process re-engineering is key requirement for this position. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Responsible for designing Oracle ERP CRM & Services processes for multiple business units and provides solutions and supports the project teams. - Be the technology expert across the entire EBS CRM/Services space including but not limited to Field Service, Service Contracts, Install Base, Spares Management, Depot Repair, Mobile Field Service, Enterprise Asset Management and the integration with Order Management and Projects. - Lead cross functional teams in providing ERP solutions to complex business problems through the entire life cycle from project request through implementation of integrated solutions. - Champion use of ERP as catalyst for process and data standardization and optimization across the business. - Drive Maximum utilization of ERP application core functionalities and reduce customizations. - Assist in process design, conduct fit-gap analysis to translate requirements into actionable design. - Develop test strategy and plan, test scripts and cases, and end-user acceptance testing. - Support SIT and UAT processes to ensure complete testing and user approval is obtained for the design. - Streamline redundant processes & integrations and support GE Energy Simplification initiatives. - Provide professional oversight to the 3rd party contracted project resources ensuring quality of deliverables. - Accountable for operational excellence of assigned program(s), with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program. - Act as a change agent for the organization by leveraging FastWorks and Lean practices to maximize results measured by performance and availability, business agility, technology freshness, cost optimization. - The role will require application of project management tools & Quality methodologies, following the GE PMM (project management methodology) tollgate. |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering or other applicable area of expertise - Minimum 5+ years’ hands on experience of leading and implementing at least 2 large-scale full life cycle global Oracle ERP implementations. |

Desired Characteristics: | - Proven track record of effectively prioritizing and solving operational and strategic issues and delivering high quality Oracle ERP Implementation on schedule and budget. - Worked extensively and has in-depth Functional Knowledge in the Oracle CRM/Services track. - Expertise in the SCM space including but not limited to Field Service, Service Contracts, Install Base, Spares Management, Depot Repair, Mobile Field Service, Enterprise Asset Management and the integration with Order Management and Projects. - Solid facilitation and presentation skills to lead design sessions with business and technical audiences to come up with solutions for ERP domain. - Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change in a complex matrix environment - Experience working in a global environment team members working remotely located in various time zones. - Proven interpersonal, facilitation and presentation skills. - Demonstrated initiative to stay abreast of technology advancements. - Green Belt or Black Belt Certified (GE Employees Only). Experience using Six Sigma tools and techniques. - Excellent leadership, Project management and Strategic thinking skills, and a proven ability to collaborate and communicate well with senior staff. |
