| Role Summary/Purpose: | Industrial Technology organization has an exciting opportunity for interested candidates with a passion to execute NPI, cost out and quality programs. The selected candidate will apply his Mechanical & electrical knowledge to Lead and execute NPI, Cost out and Quality projects for the Breakers products-MCCB & ACB |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Design MCCB, ACB products for Breaker organization for NPI, cost out and quality improvement providing robust design solutions - Manage resolution of technical issues, problem analysis and project analysis - Drive Design for Six Sigma and Design for Reliability efforts during the implementation of new products or modified designs - Ensure on-time completion of project deliverables leveraging cross-functional teams - system, sourcing, manufacturing, and test labs - Interface cross-functionally with sourcing, manufacturing and technology teams in global environment to drive smooth project execution and provide solutions to derailing issues. - Responsible for handling assignments which includes scheduling, financial investment & expenses planning, test strategy & test execution, status reporting, conducting reviews, documentation and technical & project risks mitigation. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - BE / B Tech in Mechanical/Electrical engineering with 4+ yrs of experience in product design, production Engineering, Value Engineering - Exposure to product design & development, quality, value engineering, costing of electrical distribution and control products like MCCB, MCB, Contactors and Switches - Manufacturing knowledge for stamping, molding, machining, casting, & assembly processes and tooling - Good knowledge on materials – ferrous & non-ferrous metals, plastics, elastomers - Working knowledge of CAD/CAE software like Pro/E and Ansys, Magnet - Excellent project management skills - Risk management - Proven communication & inter personal skills - a clear thinker that can simplify complexity. Able to set clear goals, communicate priorities. |
