| Role Summary/Purpose: | The Component and Development Test (C&DT) CoE is responsible for the design and execution of critical test programs with the objective of acquiring high quality design data that will facilitate the development of world class products for GE Power & Water Engineering. C&DT uses state-of-the-art measurement and acquisition solutions to support worldwide test programs covering product, technology and services applications in Gas, Steam, Generator, IGCC, Renewables and Aero derivatives. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | The Lead Engineer / Technologist, "Test & Facility Engineer" will demonstrate leadership in supporting Schenectady Test Laboratory (STL) engineering tests and facilities engineering. This individual will be responsible for test program oversight as well as learn and support facilities operations. They will plan, prepare, lead and satisfactorily execute technology and/or product development test programs and lead test capability, system, and facility design upgrades. In addition you will:
