Role Summary/Purpose: The Renewable Energy Development Program (REDP) accelerates the development of renewable energy-focused technical talent through a structured program combining coursework, job assignments and interactive seminars. Program members complete four rotations within a two-year period in GE's Renewable Energy platform, which includes Wind and Solar. Program is geared towards candidates with a technical background who are interested in pursuing careers in engineering, services or product management.
Essential Responsibilities: Program members are given the ability to design their own rotations, with input from the program leader, to contribute to projects and processes in a variety of functions across the Renewables Business, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Product Line Leadership, Project Management Logistics, Sourcing, Field Services, Parts and Operations, Product Service & Warranty, and others. Program members complete coursework, job assignments, critical business projects and interactive seminars. Development opportunities include mentorship, networking and exposure to management. Graduates are well prepared to make significant contributions within the Renewables platform.
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (maximum 2 years of graduation)
Advanced or Fluent English

Previously demonstrated motivation for a career in Renewable Energy, including coursework and extracurricular activities.
Good oral and written technical communication.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong business acumen, or ability/willingness to learn.
Willingness to complete rotations in GE's Wind and Solar businesses.

Ability and willingness to travel to USA for training and team meetings.
Ability and willingness to complete rotations outside of home country if business needs exists. Possible locations include India, Brazil, Germany, Spain, UK, Turkey, and Romania.
Ability to travel up to 30% within rotations, and willingness to relocate for new rotations.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics: A scholastic concentration on Renewable Energy. Work or academic experience in Energy industry. Strong leadership record, with active participation in Renewable Energy forums & conferences.
