| Role Summary/Purpose: | The position will be responsible for requirements analysis, design, development and delivery of key components of the Power & Water’s Logistics (Oracle Transportation & Global Trade Management) platform integrated to strategic business ERPs and other B2B partners. | Essential Responsibilities: | In this role, you will be responsible to lead and deliver all technical aspects of Oracle Transportation & Global Trade Management (OTM/GTM) solution for the Power & Water businesses, which is a multi-year program rollout. You will demonstrate deep subject matter expertise on core OTM/GTM application functionality with an ability to map business requirements to scalable and robust technical solutions. This role will be hands on working in OTM/GTM configuring, developing custom workflows/agents, and enabling accelerated entitlement using OTM to solve complex technical challenges with respect to logistics business scenarios. You will also be responsible for supporting the Business and IT project teams working through program managers in order to manage risk, scope, schedule, resource, vendor, and budget allocation. The ability to remain flexible and adept to learning new technology and systems will be instrumental to be successful on this role in addition to embracing FastWorks approach to project delivery. In addition you will, - Work with Power & Water Central and Business ERP teams to support CEMLI reviews on new enhancements or changes to OTM - Drive a strong software development methodology (Agile, dPMM) and own the technical artifacts of the program delivery including but not limited to Fit-Gap Analyses, Technical Configuration & Design Reviews, Code Management & Reviews, Integration Mapping & Design, Performance Testing, Data Conversion & Loading Utilties etc. - Configure OTM specific to business requirements, enable and write complex workflows/agents to accomplish business needs - Participate in technical integration design mapping and development for external systems to OTM including Corporate’s Trade Automation, E2Open, Customer & Supplier Master Data, Customs content and filing - Drive tailored, ad-hoc OTM/GTM demos for new features and functionality for the businesses - Serve as technical liaison to Oracle OTM Support, OTM Product Development and other implementation vendor teams in addition to Oracle Service Request management specific to OTM/GTM and Oracle SOA (Fusion Middleware) - Own and drive OTM technology refreshes for new versions - Lead OTM/GTM releases and cutover activities related to the scope of work - Work directly with vendor development teams to create and maintain quality project and release specific documentation - Develop and drive release performance activities with OTM and Oracle FMW - Manage multiple projects simultaneously, create metrics and measure program health - Able to thrive in a matrixed team consisting of business analysts, technology services, program managers and shared teams to deliver solutions |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | · - Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Information Technology (IT), Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited college or university - Minimum 5 years hands on experience implementing OTM and GTM for large industrial manufacturing or CPG companies with a global footprint (preferably OTM 6. 3.x and above) - Working knowledge on Oracle Fusion Middleware (SOA), webMethods B2B to integrate OTM with Oracle and/or SAP ERPs and external trading partners - Strong experience with Java, PL/SQL preferably in the context of Web application development and able to develop BI Publisher reports in OTM for documents - Hands on OTM experience with PO Mgt, Order Release Mgt, Shipment Planning & Execution, Global Trade Management, Freight Payment, Itineraries and Contract Mgt, Advanced Layouts, Domain Mgt and OTM VPD usage (Virtual Private Domains) - Minimum 5 years of experience in full software development life cycle - Minimum 5 years of experience working with offshore / onshore virtual teams |
