| Essential Responsibilities: | - Be a part of designing and be responsible for developing a world class user experience for the next generation of the modelling platform, in a fast paced and agile development environment using latest software development technologies and infrastructure - Work with technical leads, designers and architects to understand the UX requirements and vision - Provide front-end development to support the user experience vision of our interaction designers - Ensure all front-end code is maintainable, scalable, and testable - Engage in technical discussions; participate in technical designs and present technical ideas - Collaborate with designers, other UI developers as well as back-end development teams to ensure technical success |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - A minimum of 4+ years of IT experience with broad exposure to specific information technologies - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related discipline - Extensive experience building web applications using HTML 5, JavaScript, and REST services - Ability to create robust web applications from visual concepts, wireframes, and interactive product design sessions - Experience with modern client-side libraries and application frameworks like Bootstrap, jQuery, jQuery UI, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EXT JS etc. - Experience with JavaScript, AJAX, CSS3, HTML 5 - Thorough knowledge of how client applications communicate over HTTP to services located on different web properties - Experience working with Agile software development methodologies - Demonstrated track record of developing challenging and innovative solutions - Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility |
