| Role Summary/Purpose: | The Electrical Engineer Intern will have engineering responsibility to support new unit packages for the Gasturbine business.. Seeking an energetic, customer-focused intern with excellent communication and project management skills looking to develop their technical leadership and project execution skills. The successful candidate will interface with customers, manufacturing, project managers, sourcing, and design engineering. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | Execution: - Support the Requisition Engineer in the execution of new unit packages for the Gasturbine business – Bill of Material creation, customer documents, manufacturing drawings - Modify existing standard CADD drawings to reflect customer-specific project requirements based on requisition input - Serve as primary interface for engineering on technical issues with manufacturing and sourcing - Coordinate changes to project requirements with Sales, Project Management, Sourcing, and Production teams - Act as conduit between factory floor and engineering design team for any design change requirements - Document technical data generated by the assigned project consistent with engineering policies and procedures - Provide timely communications on significant issues or developments - Assure proper documentation of technical data generated for the assigned projects and/or tasks consistent with engineering policies and procedures - Active participation on mandatory EHS trainings and events. - Follow EHS rules and warn others to follow the rules. - Immediately report the incidents and near misses to the direct reports and EHS dept. - Immediately shut down the operation when realized life or serious injury risk present. - Further tasks not involved in this Job Description that the immediate leader/manager assigns with verbally or in writing. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - at least to be close to finish BsC in Electrical Engineering - Demonstrated interpersonal and leadership skills as well as written and oral communication skills. - Focus on customer service and fulfilment - Highly organized self-starter with strong technical and leadership skills - Strong technical aptitude, including applicable engineering tools and systems - Able to resolve problems with minor instruction of pear’s - min 4x 8hr /week availability |
