| Role Summary/Purpose: | The System Simulation & Tools development team is responsible for executing wind turbine system loads and for developing software tools for wind turbine simulation and wind park optimization. The tools development team is seeking a Senior Engineer for software development and tools automation. The Senior Engineer will be responsible executing software development projects, automation of simulation tools for NPI and MLA, software testing and validation of results |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Project management and execution of software development sub projects including testing and validation - Expert in source code architecture, software built process and modern source code languages - Develop concepts for integrated software solutions for NPI and MLA simulation environment - Apply state of the art source code languages to new projects and existing tool set - Execute and develop projects following the agile software development methodology - Organize and execute tasks following sprint planning and definition of milestones - Develop software test procedures and requirements - Work with independent consultants & external resources - Lead and guide engineers on all matters of source code development and software built process - Present results to project team and to leadership - Engage in other source code related tasks such CoE tools or HPC capabilities |
