Role Summary/Purpose: Engineering responsibility for the entire electrical team and for project-specific design and execution of projects for the GE Reciprocating Engines business (electrical technical group leader)
Single point of contact to Jenbacher HQ and distributes agreed tasks over the local team members
Work closely together with GSCM teams as primary interface for engineering on technical issues with manufacturing, sourcing, project management, HQ Engineering, field installation and end customer. Demonstrate
Essential Responsibilities: ? Responsible for leading technically a team of project developers (more than 10 people) in offering supervisory duties and taking responsibility for workloads, as well as acting in an advisory, coaching and training capacity. He/She will also allocate work within the team and be involved in estimation of resources required.
? Work closely with HQ Engineers to ensure end to end quality from design through to release.
? Continuously improve the capability and efficiency of the team.
? Identify and implement improvements to drive quality and efficiency.
? Provide project leadership and engineering support in the execution of new units for the GE Reciprocating Engines business - this includes ownership of project-specific bills of materials, drawings and related internal and external customer documents
? Detailed design of components for our Cogeneration Units, and Generator systems for our gas engines
? Modify CAD (Eplan) drawings to implement the test check-list and measures, and provide it to field installation, and customer
? Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using engineering principles, business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements
? Provide general technical support to all GE Reciprocating Engines Project teams during OTR and ITO phase and order execution
? Other tasks as required
Qualifications/Requirements: Education: Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Telecommunications Engineering or equivalent studies
Experience: Functional /operational knowledge of power plants and gas engines equipments
Technical skills: Able to work with engineering applications: Eplan, Oracle, SmarTeam, Automation Studio
Willingness to work in a dynamic, performance-oriented environment
Energetic, customer-focused with good communication and problem solving skills.
Soft skills,
Competencies: Demonstrated project management skills including -
Good communications skills in English (German is an Advantage)
Energetic, customer-focused, excellent communication.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
