Role Summary/Purpose: | The Executive IT Support Lead for Current will manage the Client (PC) Executive Support Services for GE's newest start-up business located in Boston, MA. In this role, the successful incumbent will be responsible for keeping the Current Executive staff fully functional on all levels of IT tools and capabilities while at the same time helping to introduce cutting edge technology to the Executive Staff and Assistants. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Additionally, this lead role will be leading the IT plans and coordination for Current’s temporary and subsequent permanent office space. In this role, you will:
Lead and execute all IT start-up connectivity / functionality items pertaining to the corporate headquarters office for Current Lead Client Services Executive Support, acting as single point of contact and providing technical leadership and counsel to the Current executive team Formulate plans and provide technical support for executive meetings and events Act as client services focal point for the location Manage 3rd Party service team to ensure service levels are maintained and business needs are being met Partner with L1 Help Desk, Client Engineering, Client Innovations, Client Programs, Security and other IT teams on new technology introduction projects to ensure the executive support team is prepared to install and support the new standards and to ensure no disruption to the executive team during deployment Monitor and maintain the approved list of eligible executives (VIPs) and ensure accurate billing of service charges Ensure all business policies and standards related to client services, client hardware and client software are being met In addition to PC support, will provide full scope of services for telepresence, mobile, and other key end-user technologies Keep abreast of new and emerging client technologies and help determine if / how they can be adopted to add business value for the executives Travel as required in support of executive leadership meetings and events In partnership with the Current IT team, will be technical domain expert and oversee the infrastructure installation / transfer of IT systems to Current’s permanent office |
Qualifications/Requirements: | Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering from an accredited university or college Minimum of 5 years of experience with information technology infrastructure and operations management Minimum of 3 years of experience working with (PC) client technologies, including common hardware and software products Minimum of 2 years of experience interacting / supporting executive level management |
