Role Summary/Purpose: The Product Marketing Manager demonstrates leadership in communicating business goals / programs / processes for Indoor Drivers, Fixtures, and Controls. In
this role you will utilize technical knowledge and marketing experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Essential Responsibilities:

In addition you will :


  • Understand the environment of assigned products including market size, competitive data, price dynamic, distribution channel and promotion
  • Utilize knowledge to create demand and enable sales to win in the marketplace
  • Develop and implement innovative go-to-market plans for increased and new market penetration, including selecting target markets, recommending new
    products, establishing plans for product promotion, and recommending strategic actions to grow GE's presence in the segments or products
  • Ensure the routine gathering and reporting of competitive intelligence and action, as it is required to differentiate GE in the market place
  • Regularly analyze commercial terms of existing products and provide recommendations
  • Build and maintain solid relationships with key stakeholders
  • Drive alignment across product management, marketing and sales through the use of efficient processes for bringing new and existing products to market
  • Provide sales direction and cueing within region
  • Provide direction for broader marketing team activities
  • Responsible for capturing emerging trends within assigned region and facilitating/developing corresponding strategies
  • Capture emerging trends and translate insights into opportunities which result in competitive advantages that increase sales
  • Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) to develop customer–centric messaging and value propositions for business execution
  • Develop execution strategies around sales risk and opportunities by identification, quantification, and mitigating action plans
  • Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry from an accredited university or college
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in engineering

  • Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing from an accredited university or college
