| Role Summary/Purpose: | We are taking on the biggest challenges through software solutions. Digital team will be developing products that will help power the Industrial Internet working on all industrial products of Onshore and Offshore Wind, Hydro & Solar. You will be working in a team of Software, Quality & User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development & delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | As a Software QA Engineer, you will be working in a team made up of Software Engineers, Quality Engineers, User Interaction Design Engineers, Software Architects, and the Product Owner team to lead the design, development, and delivery of high quality software in a fast paced, challenging, and creative environment. In this role you will be: - Responsible for design of automated system, module, and unit test cases and performance tests - Responsible for creation and maintenance of automated testing environment with documentation. - Own development responsibility of your design. - Review requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely feedback. - Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institute - 5+ years of experience in software QA with experience in Java programming languages - Deep experience with Test Frameworks such as Protractor, Jasmine, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNg, Selenium, and LoadRunner/JMeter, - Depth of QA experience with RESTful services and testing SaaS or PaaS products/solutions |

| Desired Characteristics: | - Strong knowledge of OOD, software design patterns and principles - Strong knowledge of test automation and test frameworks - Familiarity with Cloud aware software products and solutions - Familiarity with HTML5, AngularJS, Microservices - Experience in testing Enterprise Software Products - Knowledge of digital media, VOIP - Strong knowledge Test Driven and Behavior Driven Development practices - Experience working with Agile Scrum/XP software development methodologies - Able to work under minimal supervision - Encourages input from all members of the team - High energy, results driven person with strong interpersonal and leadership skills - Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with senior leadership with confidence and clarity - Able to energize teams through inclusiveness and connection with people - Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility.
