Role Summary/Purpose: The team will be developing products that will help power the Industrial Internet working on all the industrial products of Onshore & Offshore Wind, Hydro & Solar.
Your primary focus is optimizing software development systems. Coach teams in the effectiveness execution of Extreme Programming techniques. Effectively coach the complete value stream of a program. Coach an organization on managing their portfolio of projects using Agile Portfolio Management concepts.
Essential Responsibilities: As a Staff Software Agile Leader, your primary focus is optimizing software development systems. Coach teams in the effectiveness execution of Extreme Programming techniques. Effectively coach the complete value stream of a program. Coach an organization on managing their portfolio of projects using Agile Portfolio Management concepts.

In this role you will:

- Coach teams on the effect execution of Extreme Programming practices including Pair
Programming, Continuous Integration, Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Deployment/Delivery.

- Effectively coach organizations on effective Agile practices at scale including Agile Portfolio Management & multi-team programs (i.e. SAFe).

- Be able to coach a program on mapping & managing the complete value stream of a program.

- Influence: Programs & Portfolio Management. Fundamentals: Extreme Programming, Value Stream Mapping
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math)

- A minimum of 7+ years professional experience in DevOps; OR Master’s degree with 3 years of experience in DevOps

Technical Expertise:

- Facilitates & coaches software engineering team sessions on requirements estimation & alternative approaches to team sizing & estimation. Leads a community of practice around estimation to share best practices among teams

- Drives accountability & adoption. Publishes guidance & documentation to promote adoption of design. Proposes design solutions based on research & synthesis; creates general design principles that capture the vision & critical concerns for a program.

- Demonstrates mastery of the intricacies of interactions & dynamics in Agile teams.
Demonstrates advanced understanding of Lean Six Sigma principles (e.g., Black belt certified). Guides new teams to adopt Agile, troubleshoots adoption efforts, & guide continuous improvement. Provides training on Lean / Agile. Drives elimination of inefficiencies in coding process. Teaches XP practices to others. Actively embraces new methods & practices that increase efficiency & effectiveness.

- Familiar with Service Oriented Architecture, Microservices, Cloud based deployment
