Role Summary/Purpose: | This is a project management IT role in a large multi-year Oracle R12 ERP program - Project Accord focusing primarily on fulfillment/supply chain domain and integration's required in the system. Track teams have business operations, Oracle SMEs, IT solutions team and project managers. This role includes detailed project management, partnering & leading matrixed teams and be responsible to integrate fulfillment processes by demonstrating expertise to deliver, and support long-term project vision. |
Essential Responsibilities: | Be the part of Fulfillment processes implementation team for Accord ERP deployments Lead the analysis, requirement development, design, documentation, implementation, and complex IT solutions for fulfillment business processes Lead requirement gathering & design workouts with cross functional teams Own and ensure CEMLI components provided to technical teams are in sync with the long term designs; Develop technical specifications according to standard templates and Oracle CoE guidelines Drive all operations modules including Order Management, Procurement, inventory, Projects of Oracle ERP & standard bolt-ons Project manages activities of team resources to support and deliver solutions, building project plans and technical build tracking tools to ensure development remains on schedule and within budget Document and manage project risks, communicate to stakeholders Deploy the program, design and execute test scripts/test scenarios in partnership with the QA team and other testing teams, ensuring technical components are tested for both process and IT controls and sustainability Identify need and conduct project workouts at different phases of the project like requirement gathering, solution designing and testing Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze and document information needs and technical requirements, delivering accurate and detailed artifacts such as: (Interface Guides, Technical Specification Documents, Configuration Documents, etc.) Support Project Accord Vision by leveraging global design to drive standardization & simplification to reduce implementation timelines & costs while supporting local statutory and compliance requirements Own critical path actions, risks and work with IT & functional leadership to mitigate risk Partner with functional teams to standardize business processes and provide cost effective solution Own project management responsibilities managing vendor teams and executing to detailed project plans to ensure on-time delivery of scheduled releases. Drive best practice sharing across international implementations, develop & support template based approach for future deployments Participate in quality improvement initiatives as needed to improve delivery of development and/or configurations |
Qualifications/Requirements: | Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science or Engineering 6+ years hands-on experience in Oracle ERP with Fulfillment modules - including Inventory, Order Management, Shipping, OTM, Projects etc. and experience with current information technologies and their implementation into business functions in multiple process area's Ability to lead requirement, complex process definition workouts across cross functional teams Experience in all phases of global ERP implementations & ability to work with diverse teams Ability to support multiple programs and work with virtual teams in strong matrix environment, without direct reports; Strong interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills Full understanding of change management processes incorporating multiple releases and business teams Capable and influential at program management and business process improvements Travel, 10-20% |

Desired Characteristics: | Background with global ERP implementation/rollouts, with hands-on experience designing & implementing “out-of-the-box” solutions
Knowledge of interface and data conversion tools/technologies, such as Oracle Fusion Middleware, Webmethods, Informatica, SOA, BackOffice, ODI
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, vendors, and subject matter experts.
Strong analytical and project management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements as well as understanding of industry standard processes & technologies
