| Role Summary/Purpose: | The Jr Test Engineer is responsible for defined work or projects with moderate complexity. This role follows an individual work plan and meets day-to-day short-term objectives. The successful candidate will have the ability to resolve issues through immediate action or short-term planning. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | - Prepare procedures to full and small tests, lead their execution, with supervision, according to the GE EHS procedures, and prepare test reports. - Lead, with supervision, dissections and RCA of the product, in order to determine the mode of failure. - Lead, with supervision, sample assemblies, in order to perform full scale and small scale tests. - Lead interim reports during tests, and authors formal, posttest reports. - Lead the execution of full scale tests offshore, simulating the pipe installation in field service. - Communicate and drive lessons learned into validation efforts across the business. - Analyze, interpret, and present technical data produced from the various data acquisition systems. - Develop and review drawings and functional specifications for all aspects of the product and measurement system. - Lead teams to plan and perform field validation or qualification tests for New Product Introduction (NPI) technologies. |
