Role Summary/Purpose: To be part of GE Power and Water Gas Turbine CM&U (Change, Modifications and Upgrades) team which support global Design and Product Definition Engineering for Gas Turbine Units at the field, working closely with global centers in USA, Poland, UK, India and China, in constant communication with customer to full fill maintenance and upgrades of their sites
Essential Responsibilities: The trainee will be assigned to the Rotors and Airfoils Product Definition Engineering Team to carry on with Design Engineer changes/instructions to create, update or modify Bill of Materials, Drawings, 3D Models and its process requirements.
The major duties are:

1. Execute PDE (Product Definition Engineer) work (3D Model, Drawings and Bill of Material) with some guidance and ASME standards.

2. Complete with part centricity mind set requirements using Product Life Cycle process and tools.

3. Manage assigned work and communicate plan status on a weekly basis.

4. Anticipates problems with limited scope or complexity and proactively implements effective solutions.

5. Continually focuses on Developing and expanding capabilities and product knowledge.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 4th Year student (7th or 8th Semester) bachelor in Mechatronics, Mechanics, Industrial or similar

- Effective written and oral English communications skills

- Effective interpersonal skills

- Computer skills

- 3D model basic knowledge

- Technical Drawing basic knowledge
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Desired Characteristics:
- Solid knowledge on 3D modeling CAD tool, UG-Nx in particular
- Six Sigma basic knowledge(DMAIC)
- Detail Orientated
