Role Summary/Purpose: The Services Sales Manager will have the responsibility for significantly growing GE Gas Engine products and services in the Oil & Gas Space. This individual will predominantly support Gas Compression Packagers and requires knowledge of gas compression applications, reciprocating engines, and the Oil & Gas market.
Essential Responsibilities: In addition you will:

  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Manager, in developing strategic account strategies for all North American Packagers and will be measured by the growth of our business with them
  • Analyze and understand Oil & Gas market landscape, market participants and value chain - Identify market opportunities, key value chain participants (end users, engineering companies, developers, EPC's etc.), and develop account development strategies
  • Provide packagers and engineering firms information to influence the inclusion of GE gas engine technical specifications
  • Participate in sales target setting, continuous progress monitoring and providing constant feedback to factory for corrective action plans if necessary
  • Ensure engineering competence and package design robustness for each packager assigned
  • Support all our direct and indirect channels to market for each key account – sales managers, service managers, marketing managers, and distribution
  • Lead any account driven tenders, proposal, through the preparation, submission, tracking and closing of quotations and proposals
  • Be responsible for all GE Gas engine activity, growth, customer satisfaction (NPS), for all assigned accounts
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or Business from an accredited college or university OR High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 10 years of Commercial experience in the Power Gen / O&G industry
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering or commercial experience with reciprocating engines, compression or power generation
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
