- Complete engineering for Controls systems for O&G and Power Generation applications

- SCADA SW development and validation for Wind & Solar Farms

- Transmission and Distribution SW (Substation Automation, M&D, GIS, EMS, OMS, PMU's, PDC's) and HW design &
development including Implementation

- Design & development of Energy Meters, Motors, UPS, ATS & SPD's

- Development and upgrade of Control systems for Jenbacher gas engines

- Product Development and Support for Industrial solutions including Breakers, Equipment, Electronics and Resi Controls.

Role Summary/Purpose: To drive product development efforts for Next Gen SEM NPI for Drilling control system product line. He/she should be capable of design and development of Hardware for I/O cards ranging from Power distribution/switching, communication modems, Solenoid Valve drives, Sensor module, and also to define test strategy for production.
Essential Responsibilities: -To drive and execute Hardware design and development for NPI of drilling control system I/O cards.
-To Drive technical design reviews and accountable for OTD and FTY.
-To document the design, consider various stake holders perspective in taking product till production.
-To detail the gaps in existing product line and gather available options to design SEM (Subsea Electronics Module).
-Define Reliability, packaging and heat transfer mechanism working along with system team.
-With continuous improvement, innovation & expertise work on cost effective and high reliability development
Qualifications/Requirements: -Masters / Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical/Electronics engineering. 6-8 years of experience in product development, with majority as Hardware designer.
- Hands on Experience in hardware design, functional and qualification testing (EMI/EMC, Thermal, Vibration).
- Experience in selecting hardware, processing platform for a product line considering Obsolesce, Reliability and supply chain.
- Exposure in understanding software architecture.- Exposure to NPI process and Six Sigma Tools and hands on with tools like FMEA, Risk assessment and FBD.
-Travel required within India and to other Global sites.
- Exposure to UL, CE certifications.

Desired Characteristics: -Develop system topology and design drivers by gathering requirements from Various stakeholders (systems, Topside controls, Hydraulics and Electrical teams). - Know system qualification standards for Drilling application. - Reliability, System Engineering Certifications. - Effective problem solving abilities. - Strong oral and written communication skills are must. - Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. - Familiarity with O&G and Drilling applications and controls. - Working Knowledge of SIL standards. - GB Certified.
