SAP FICO/PS module expert will drive programs in the finance and engineering business functions. The individual will work closely with business partners to drive simplification and process excellence. Long term strategic planning & driving simplification initiatives in Finance and PS is a key part of this role.
Essential Responsibilities: The Finance/PS Program Manager would need to demonstrate accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. In this role you will integrate and develop processes that meet business needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to the overall business strategy.

Drive and take responsibility for operational excellence of assigned programs, with duties including project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit analysis, prioritization, initiation, execution and closure for all project work related to the program

Manage budgets and contracts associated with programs or initiatives

Manage activities of project team resources to support and deliver solutions relating to the programs

Maintain effective working relationships with peers and vendors to seamlessly integrate the program area into the overall strategic objectives and activities of the organization

Coordinate the program support activities, including the development of internal and external communications establishing roadmaps and benchmarks, and developing training plans

Support, advise, assist, guide, and resolve problems for business users

Work as a partner with client functions and users to evaluate / improve business processes and arrive at mutual, cost effective solutions

Ensure conformity to financial standards and practices

Prepare and present project plans, status reports, cost / benefit studies and recommend funding and resources

Initiate direct communication with specific customers, clients, suppliers and finance personnel

Act as a change agent for business processes

Coordinate outsourced supplier efforts as required

Drive SAP best practices standards across GE SAP Landscape.

Implement industry best practices as deemed applicable to enhance capabilities and effectiveness
Qualifications/Requirements: Bachelor's / Master’s degree in Information Technology / Engineering / Business Management

Minimum of 10 years of SAP work experience in SAP ERP

Proven experience in designing and configuring SAP ECC
6.0 FICO/PS functional module, cross-functional business solutions and system integrations.

Minimum two end-to-end projects in implementing SAP Finance and Controlling Modules

Minimum two end-to-end projects in implementing SAP Project Systems Modules

Minimum of 5 projects completed end-to-end that integrate software solutions and incorporate key business functions of the organization

Minimum of 7 years of functional experience in business experience that includes the Finance, Projects and Services function

Proven experience in implementation of New G/L and Business process monitoring
