| Role Summary/Purpose: | GE Power & Water, Power Generation Services, have an open position for a highly motivated individual to perform highly specialized Testing procedures on Gas Turbine components. These inspections/repairs are carried out at power stations in MEA region and also Worldwide. |
| Essential Responsibilities: | The successful candidate will need to be familiar with Robotics / Borescope technology to perform inspection of gas, steam turbines and generators utilizing proprietary remote access equipment. The inspector will be required to stay abreast of development in procedures within the organization and continually expand certifications. |
| Qualifications/Requirements: | Only candidate with 2-3 years’ experience in Borescope inspections on Gas or Aero turbines should apply. - Excellent Spoken, Written Skills in English at technical level. - Willingness to travel when required, throughout the Middle East & Africa Region on short notice. - P/C proficiency in MS Word, Access, Excel - Gas, Steam, and Generator turbine operating/maintenance experience - Knowledge of design and construction of Gas, Steam, and Generator turbines - Minimum 3 years’ experience in a related field. - Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) - Good communication skills, both verbal and written. - Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, schedule, motivate and train other |
