Role Summary/Purpose: Designing & Development of all Electrical works.
Managing construction of GE Electrical work at our sites
Primary customer contact for all Site Electrical Activities under GE contract.
Manage project risk issues and deliveries of the Project
Essential Responsibilities: The Project Leader develops practical and innovative ways to identify and meet goals. In this role you will be responsible for work that is less defined in scope, utilize your experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.


1. Carry out global level Vendor assessments for manufacturing of all major sub-station equipment like transformers, circuit breakers, relays, cables, CT, PT, Control Panels etc.

2. Identify & Develop new vendors for manufacturing & construction for electrical works

3. Planning & costing of all types of electrical work viz sub-stations of all capacities, Electrical transmission networks of all voltage levels, cabling works etc

4. Electrical permits & Liason knowledge across all state regulatory authorities.

5. Sub-Station system studies, load flow analysis and associated liasoning requirements.

6. Develop documentation requirements for electrical works

7. Leading the GE Electrical Team along with various contractors on the GE core values of EHS / Compliance / Quality / Customer Satisfaction / Time / Cost

8. Ensure all works are carried out according to the GE’s compliance policies.

9. Will be a Global Support and if the need arises should be willing to travel on short terms to various countries where we operate

10. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate / coordinate with staff as appropriate.

11. Manage project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout

12. Handling the Customer and their associated Owners Engineers

13. Provide solutions to customers whenever required, to optimize the electrical design at Windfarms.

14. Manage the financial performance of assigned the project or components.

15. Ensure on time delivery of the assigned work.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or college with at least 5 years of experience in a Wind Turbine Project Management role

- At least 5 additional years of experience in a project management, engineering or manufacturing role.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

- Willingness and ability to travel to sites as and when required.
