Role Summary/Purpose: The Product Compliance Engineer will drive all tasks related to compliance for applicable country standards for assigned products. In this role, you will provide leadership on assigned projects to ensure all stakeholders understand safety and certification requirements
Essential Responsibilities: As the Product Compliance Engineer, you will:


  • Support project proposal development as it relates to defining the scope of safety and certification requirements
  • Lead engineering and project tasks associated with performing safety analysis, tracking safety and certification requirements, and evaluating design verification / validation data
  • Work closely with project management, internal engineers, external regulators, and external certification agencies
  • Provide regular updates to project managers as well as engineering and business leaders
  • Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a safety, systems, or design engineering position
  • Additional Eligibility Qualifications: GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.
