Role Summary/Purpose: | Commercial Manager for New / Existing Unit Gas Turbine Services (Short Term Services and Long Term Service Contracts) |
Essential Responsibilities: | - Work as a key member of the region team in support of achieving the region’s orders, sales, and margin targets for the Gas Turbine Services Portfolio. - Develop proposals for GE Technology Gas Turbine Services Portfolio for long term and short term contracts, the risk management process including organizing approvals as per Delegation of Authority (DOA), handling negotiations and hand over to execution team. - Support and align with region growth strategy Sales and other business teams, - Support commercial operations involving various costs, pricing and other business tools for the business. - Ensure process consistency across the Gas Turbine portfolio with special emphasis on approved bid document (Policy 5.0), requirements and guidelines. - Employ consistent deal review processes with the Region Sales team, risk, legal & tax teams. - Continuously identify and refine the proposal processes with special emphasis on Lean opportunities for improvement and waste reduction. - Support regional operating metrics, centered on offerings and individual productivity, to promote proposal throughput, yield, cost, and efficiency. - Ensure process adherence to all government contracting requirements. - Enforce order-booking requirements and drive an improved hand over process to ensure proper control of contract flow-down requirements. Qualifications/Requirements: | Degree in any of the Engg. discipline and MBA from reputed institute with work experience of 7 to 10 years in power or energy industry. |
