Role Summary/Purpose: | The Project Engineer helps the business growth by finding contemporary and efficient engineering solutions for our Engineered Systems projects by working with our external engineering support teams in Hungary and Russia and the Water and cross-GE teams. |
Essential Responsibilities: | - Responsible for the conceptual engineering work - mechanical and electrical design management of Water Treatment Systems - Provide technical solutions - Continuous improvement of engineering designs by driving direct material productivity (DMP), in cooperation with Sourcing, Project Management and Commercial/Application Engineers - Cooperation and coordination of external engineering providers on drawings and basic engineering work - Engineering support to specification, procurement, fabrication, installation and commissioning of Water Treatment Packages - Designs products and systems in compliance with engineering principles, Customer standards and specifications, contractual requirements and local applicable codes. - Assures that all engineering documents are diligently and properly executed and accurately documented and stored on the Collaboration Tools - Understands and drives Project budgeting, scheduling and scope of works fundamental - Interfaces with Customers with sense of urgency and problem solving attitude - Acts in a safety and compliance conscious way |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - Degree in Engineering Specification in Water Treatment is an advantage; - Working experience; - Experience on International EPC Projects; - Process Design Experience including familiarity with membrane based water treatment systems; - Familiarity with Factory design and manufacturing; - Previous experience in international working environment; - Strong focus on Quality; - Fluent English and Russian; - Knowledge of SAP is an advantage. - Willing to travel 30% of the time. |
