Role Summary/Purpose: This assignment is with GE Power, within Water & Process Technology. This is a water and wastewater treatment research Centre and the team is working on application R&D related to water treatment technologies. This assignment will provide a good balance of hands on workshop knowledge, analysis of data and documentation and presentation of this analysis.
Essential Responsibilities: Expected scope of work for our Interns is to assist process scientists and engineers with:

1. Market/literature review on state-of-art technologies

2. To work on processes such as membrane filtration, biological treatment and other water treatment technologies.

3. To learn skill related to design of experiment and data analysis

4. Hands-on experience on operating equipment and processes.

5. Conduct water analyses in chemical analytical laboratory using different types of technologies.
Qualifications/Requirements: Currently pursuing a Degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical, Bio-engineering or Environmental Engineering related discipline for a locally and/or internationally recognized university
