Role Summary/Purpose: | For our Technologhy Department, we are looking for a Engineer HiL Testing for Engine Control SW (m/f) Job reference 2042485 |
Essential Responsibilities: | - Work in a team of electrical, controls and SW engineers on developing state of the art control systems for internal combustion engines - Implement and execute procedures forverification and testing of control algorithms and application software for internal combustion engine control systems using state-of-the-art XiL methodologies - Development and validation of dynamic simulation models of reciprocating engines - Definition of automated test scenarios, implementation of test-cases and execution of SW tests - Maintain and expand a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) simulator - Prepare and support project reviews - Conduct technical consultations for project and team leaders - Adopt and monitor adherence to design practices and methods, e.g. DFSS - Work on multiple projects simultaneously, under the supervision and guidance of lead and senior engineers |
Qualifications/Requirements: | - Advanced technical education in electrical-/mechanical-engineering or computer sciences (technical university – bachelor or master) – focus on control technology, combustion technology. - Solid background in c SW verification methodologies and control systems - Knowledge in SW verification of embedded systems using Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulators required - Well versed in using tools like dSpace Automation Desk or ETAS Labcar and Simulink - Responsible and team oriented style of work - Good English language skills (spoken and written). - Willingness to work within global distributed teams on common goals - Self-Starter, very good analytical skills - Work place will be at GE’s Global Research Center near Munich in Germany. According to Austrian law job postings need to include the minimum salary for a position. For this position the minimum salary based on the collective agreement is EURO 3.008,65,- gross monthly. Please note that this is the very minimum salary and will most likely be higher. The effective salary is based on the candidate’s Qualification and Experience and will be negotiated accordingly. |
